Neurodiversity & LGBTQ+ Affirming

why creative thriving?

As someone who has complex or commonly misunderstood chronic health conditions, or is neurodivergent, thriving isn’t always so simple. Typical solutions may not work. Thriving takes some creativity.

Creative Thriving was established to meet the needs of those who have felt inadequately supported in their prior healthcare experiences. Creative Thriving is not a primary care provider, rather we serve as a specialist for those needing additional support.

Our primary focus is Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and conditions that commonly co-occur such as mast cell disorders, dysautonomia, gastrointestinal concerns, food sensitivities, nutritional deficiencies, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and more. Many of our patients are also autistic, adhd, have various types of disabilities, and are members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Is Creative Thriving right for you?

Do you feel the standard healthcare system is failing you?

Did you finally receive a diagnosis to explain some of your symptoms, but no solid plan on how to feel better?

Have you been told your symptoms are “in your head”, or that you are fine because your tests are “normal”?

Are you a member of the LGBTQ+ community who has never really felt at home in many healthcare settings?

Are you neurodivergent and struggling to find a healthcare provider who really gets you and accommodates your needs?

Do you have a growing list of symptoms that no one has been able to explain?

Do you have a long history of feeling dismissed and gaslit by healthcare providers?

Do you want a healthcare provider who is a collaborator, a consultant, someone who trusts you, who encourages you to do your own learning, who believes you know yourself best?

Are you looking for an integrative approach and someone who looks at the whole person, not just individual symptoms, someone who realizes everything is connected and interrelated?

If so, Creative Thriving may be a good fit!

I believe you are the expert in yourself, and see my role as a collaborator and consultant. We will work together to come up with a plan that works for you and gets you feeling your best!
